I must tell you what happened to Emma on her first day back at school! She had been out in the garden clearing up my poos and I had been helping (she called it prancing about in the mess, but I don't know what she meant!) When her neighbour looked over the fence to say hi she picked me up so that her neighbour could see me. Then she finished off the clearing, had lunch and went to work. Apparently on her way to Rufforth she realised that she had forgotten what time she started...and was fifiteen minutes late instead of fifteen minutes early...but the head teacher was really good about it, because it was just recorder club that she missed.
As she left the headteacher's office, Emma looked down to see mud all over her cardigan! Embarassedly rubbing the mud off, she realised to her horror that it was not mud! She knew she had been able to smell something when we came in from the garden and had spent hours examining my paws for signs of poo before it got walked into the house...unfortunately she did not check a little bit closer to her nose...it was all over her cardigan! Thank goodness she was wearing a cardigan so she could take it off before standing in front of a class of children!! Meanwhile I was fast asleep in my crate...hee hee hee!
